Mother Hen 1.1.1

One day, I undertook a unique task: I updated my wife's phone, only to discover that her beloved egg tracking app had ceased to function. To make matters worse, it seemed that the developer had no intention of fixing it. Thus, I resolved to create a replacement app for her.

Throughout the development process, we incorporated a range of features that we believe would be beneficial for individuals raising chickens and other poultry.

The app consists of three main components:

1. The "Harvest" tab: This feature is intended for daily use, allowing users to keep track of the latest batch of eggs waiting to be collected. Factors such as light exposure and stress can impact egg production. By monitoring the egg counts, users can identify any patterns or trends resulting from these environmental influences.
2. The "Flock" tab: This tab enables users to easily manage their flock members. For those of us who struggle to distinguish one chicken from another within the coop, this feature provides the option to attach photos and names to individual birds. Additionally, we have included a family tree graph specifically tailored for breeders. We welcome any feedback on this aspect, as we have yet to experience it firsthand.
3. The "Finances" tab: As the name suggests, this functionality allows users to track the expenses associated with their feathered companions. Users have the option to monitor the amount spent on feed and other related costs. Alternatively, if they sell eggs or meat, this feature enables them to calculate the financial gains generated by their flock.
